FERNS ARE FANTASTIC

Fantastic Ferns is run by ferns collectors and we grow lovely everyday ferns and collectable ferns.

There are so many types of ferns that there is bound to be some to suit everyone's situation.

Our ferns are spore grown with no additional heat, so when you get them they are not tender but cold hardy.

There are many types of ferns.

Epiphytic - ferns that don't grow in the ground.

Terrestrial - ferns that grow in the ground.

Drought hardy / tolerant - Xerophytic ferns, they can dry out even to a crisp and regrow or continue to grow when watered.

Aquatic - Water loving ferns that can be grown in fish tanks and in ponds

Deciduous - they loose their fronds or most of them over winter

Within these groups are ferns that clump, creep, spread, hang, climb and multiply.
